We were still polishing and refining the show. According to the special notebook we called “HAHAHA – APPLAUSE BOOK”. It was, in fact, a strange template that contained a kind of “dramaturgy” of this play. Each part of the performance (action, movement, music, etc.) was described in details – with precisely indicated, determined places in the show – from second to second – how and where the audience should react. And the possible reactions were: either laughter (of varying intensity), meaning HA HA HA, or applause.

After each performance, we measured the response of the audience according to this template, and if at some point the reaction was not what we expected – then we changed – the rhythm, the speed, the soundtrack, the movement – until we achieved the desired reaction.
