“MASKA I POKRET” THEATER PERFORMANCES ON TV
The editorial board of drama program has included in the cycle of plays from this year’s festival of small and experimental stages the play “Mme Leopoldine’s Memoires” by theatre “Maska i Pokret” from Sarajevo.
Along with the recording of the play “Somebody has Killed the Play” from last year’s festival, this new play will complete the picture of the research efforts of Iva Kostović-Mandić and Petar Mandić in terms of examining the expressive possibilities of masks and movements in performing arts.
While in the play “Somebody has Killed the Play” the authors use the mask as a “theatrical means”, ie a sign that develops through action, in the play “Mme Leopoldine’s Memoires” they prove that the mask has its “inner life” that can open to deeper psychological layers within a particular dramaturgy of the play.
Both plays were adapted and realised for TV media by director Mladen Sihrovski.

PREDSTAVE TEATRA »MASKA I POKRET«
